from A photographic shop Summary: A very good telezoom lens for those, who have not enough money for a 80-200 f/2,8. The price I payed may seem to be high, but in fact it''s a very reasonable price for such a lens in Poland... I have the FA version, but it''s optically the same. It''s a nice portrait lens and works well with close-up lenses (with tripod I have no problem taking sharp close-up pics). Strengths: Sharp, compact, very good price for the quality, doesn''t get longer while changing its focal lenght, very quick focusing, the shortest minimum focusing distance in its class (1,1 m) Weaknesses: quite slow at the short end, like any lens of this class it has plastic feeling... Similar Products Used: Tamron 70-300 f/4-5,6 Customer Service: No malfunction yet...
