Summary: I paid quite a bit less than retail for it and it was my 1st digital camera. I have played with a number of others since and I do not recommend this camera unless you get it for really cheap, and even then you will be frustrated often with the results. What a shame since its such a fun and unique design. This was an early generation camera and as such it wasn't so bad, but beware as you may end up feeling like a bad photographer because the shots come out so poorly so often. Strengths: Compact Size with LCD removed
Lightweight with LCD removed
cool design
easy transfer with PCMCIA Weaknesses: no rechargeable batteries
battery life is horrible, especially with LCD
poor photo quality in all but the ideal lighting conditions
No flash
No focus or zoom
capture time is long enough that movement blurs under even the best cisrumstances
The manual light filter and the manual focus make for many possibilities to screw up.
