Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Best Buy

Summary:

I came to this fourm because I am shopping for a new APS camera. My Oly Zoom 90 got droped 1, 2 many times. It seems that most peeps do not like the APS film format. I never blow any of my pics up, but I love the large pic choice! I always need to trim them to fit into a frame. I personaly love the APS format!! And the Olympus Newpic Zoom 90 has a 3x zoom and has a great track record!

Strengths:

Very duriable

Weaknesses:

Flash distortion lens, after fall to the floor #3

Similar Products Used:

only true film camera I have used in the last 5000 photos

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $180.00 from FNAC

Summary:

Bought it as my first camera, but I'm very disapointed with picture quality (compared with 35mm compact zooms or smcs).
I think I will keep it for X-Mas pictures or maybe I will sell it and buy an slr (like a pentax mz30).
Compared with other APS product it is a good buy but I would rather buy a 35mm.

Strengths:

Good built quality, operates smoothly, great zoom for the price.

Weaknesses:

Maybe a little too large, poor picture quality (maybe APS is guilty).

Review 3 of 3

Model Reviewed:
Newpic Zoom 90

Summary:

Feels nice and compact in use, small enough to pop in the pocket. Apart from unhapy with the picture quality, no problems whatsoever with reliability.
Was never happy with the picture quality (Only ever used Kodak Advantage 200), in anything other than good light the pictures tended to be "Grainy". As an Ex-SLR user I want better pictures than the APS format can give. Have since part exchanged for a Pentax Compact Zoom 35mm.

Strengths:

Solid built compact

Weaknesses:

Was never happy with the picture quality
