Review 2 of 3

Model Reviewed:
Centurion S

Summary:

I've dropped the camera several times onto hard surfaces, and no problems. Its very compact and ergonomic (great for hiking, etc). Takes great pictures, and has pretty good flexibility with multiple exposure modes. The only thing that would really improve it is full manual exposure control. Oh well, I'll gladly give that up for a very compact, rugged, easy to use, and beautiful package.

Strengths:

Compact!!
versatile
nice lens
multiple flash and exposure modes
ergonomics
Rugged!

Weaknesses:

Difficulty focusing on subjects lacking
vertical lines.
No manual modes.

Similar Products Used:

Olympus OM-1
Olympus Stylus
Canon FTS
Nikon Pronea
Minolta Vectis

Customer Service:

Never needed it.

Review 3 of 3

Model Reviewed:
Centurion S

Summary:

I am very satisfied. The Olympus Centurion S
is very versatile (Auto, aperture-priority, shutter priority), and gives very sharp pictures
with very faithful colors.
Because it's a reflex, it allows me to use
filters, like a polarizer or a yellow one for b&w.
The exposure is very precise.

Strengths:

Extremely easy to use.
Versatile. Very good
zoom lens.

Weaknesses:

It's not as small as
non-reflex APS cameras.

Similar Products Used:

Nikon Nuvis S.
Minolta Vectis 4O

Customer Service:

Never had problems. So I can't judge.
