Olympus FE-210

Purchased this camera to have something i could put in my pocket rather than my
Nikon D-50. If you have alot of AA batteries around and want to get rid of them, this is the camera for you. You could easiley burn off dozens each day.
Picture quality is very poor. Even out side landscape photos are poor. The back ground is not sharp even with a tripod. Since this is a 7 mp camera, you would think you can print bigger than 4x6 but you cannot get a sharp pic on anythig bigger. For anyone getting into digital with this entry level camera, they will go back to film in a heart beat. Shame on you Olympus. You had a great reputation.

I bought this camera for my wife. She has little time to set down and read instructios. The built in user guide is a wonderful feature. Just set the camera to Guide and it walks you through taking the picture that you want. In short order I might add. it also has preset settings for an assortment of different shots. Portrait, Landscape, Close up, Super Close up, Night pictures and even Fireworks.
It is also small enough to fit in your pocket. This is an amazing little camera and I am really impressed. I usally shot with an E500 but would easily use this one just as much. It is great for chasiing kids around or using it where you don't want to carry a bigger camera around.
