    Price Paid:  $183.00 from butterflyphoto.com

    Summary:
looking at this camera means that you are looking for a nice looking compact point-and-shoot camera. i have really been pleased with this myself. this is my first digital camera of my own and justa bout drove myself crazy looking at all the options. i looked at cameras ranging from the sony DSC-P7x, Pentax Optio S, and Casio Exilim EX-Z30. i am just entering college and i wanted something to take around and catch those crazy pictures on the spot. after shopping around, i couldn't beat this deal. the 100$ rebate pushed me over the top. the 3700 is so easy to use and the end price was unbeatable. yet, i am praising the price. the photos have been great, and the response time is quite decent. The LCD has little "ghosting" and refreshes quickly. i like the joystick on the back; i find it easy to use. overall, i am very glad to have bought this camera.

    Strengths:
sleek, metal body. high-resolution LCD fairly quick startup time nikon quality

    Weaknesses:
not quite as compact as exilim and optio, but hey, i'd give it up for half the price and better photo quality! not a lot of manual features, but more than canon elphs
