Summary: I am not en expert photographer, however I have been surprised by the quality of results that the Fuji 3100 delivers. I think that the lens is good quality, because the colors and the sharpness doesn't look to me so much different from a 35 mm point & shoot.
Strengths: Surprisingly good lens, very easy to use, ideal zoom range for shooting people.
