Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $540.00 from Audiotronic

Summary:
Great little camera for a relatively great price. I was stuck between the S5100 and the Canon S1 IS, but I chose this and I'm glad I did. With such a great zoom and awesome manual settings, it's quite the camera.

Strengths:
-Very crisp, 10X lens with options to put screw on lens ons -Great 4MP with CCD -Excellent Movie mode (30 fps)

Weaknesses:
-Very limited, hard to adjust Macro -RAW is limited -Lack of lenses available

Similar Products Used:
Nothing similar used, but I have tried a Canon S1 IS, and I greatly choose the S5100 over the Canon.

Customer Service:
None needed.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $455.00 from Canada Computers

Summary:
Great Zoom with fast focousing.

Strengths:
This little baby has a 10x zoom to get you close to the action. It focouses very quickly. It can be used as a point and shoot for the amature or in full manual mode for the more advanced user. The pictures are colour perfect without much noise. comes with a lense extender for ad-on lenses. Its movie mode is above average. It uses AA batteries so if your rechargables (NiMH) run out you can pick up alkaline batteries in a pinch.

Weaknesses:
The memory cards only come up to 512k. Raw converter limited
