Review 1 of 30

Price Paid:  $450.00 from ebay

Summary:
The camera is good until the lens cover problem occurs. The fuji will not fix it for free. So it is not worth to buy this camera for the price they listed. They will last mostly for 1.5 years. After that, you will pay a high price for fix the lens cover problem which happened to a lot of buyers.

Review 2 of 30

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I have been using my Fuji 2600 for 18 months and it works great. However last week, I turned it on, the lens extended, and now will not move. This seems to be a common problem. I am sending it back to Fuji today for repair.

Review 3 of 30

Price Paid:  $299.00 from Circuit City

Summary:
Overall a good camera. I really liked the Fuji product, pictures come out superb, even on the medium setting from photo printer or Sam's Club digital prints. Use it all the time for my website and family pics. LCD is pretty useless in too bright or dark lighting. Technical problems is why I had to give this a poor rating. Bought and awaiting the arival of my new camera the FinePix 2800.

Strengths:
Photo quality. Ease of use.

Weaknesses:
After about 6 months the lens cover would no longer cause the lens to come out. The camera would think the lens cover was closed even when it wasn't. Under warranty we got it fixed. About 3 months later we had the same problem with it.

Similar Products Used:
Finepix 3800 Coolpix ??

Customer Service:
We wanted FUJI to replace our product because it was the second time the same problem occured. They would not do it and sent us the camera back repaired.

Review 4 of 30

Price Paid:  $235.00 from 17th Street Photo (o

Summary:
This is my 1st experience shopping for and buying a digital camera. I wanted something small and easily portable that still took good pictures. Mostly for e-mail purposes. I also didn't want to spend very much on my 1st camera as I plan on getting a better one down the road. The Fuji FinePix 2600 seemed to fit the bill. Overall, I seem to have made a wise choice. It is small and easy to tote around. The picture quality is outstanding. Don't be thrown off by the LCD display, it isn't representative of the picture quality. The lady at the shop where I get my prints made made a point to come out and talk to me and ask what kind of camera I have. She said they were some of the best she has seen out of the thousands she sees every day. That is a pretty good endorsement.

Strengths:
GREAT picture quality, esp. for a 2 mp camera. Easy to use. Small, easy to tote. Lots of flash modes. Macro mode works very well. Use good NiMH batteries and the camera provides good battery life. A great 1st digital camera, esp. for beginners. Fuji has a winner here.

Weaknesses:
It is made of plastic and seems a little fragile, although nothing has broken. The battery cover is easily bumped open. LCD is very hard to see in bright light and viewfinder lines up your shot differently than LCD does. Use LCD when possible.

Similar Products Used:
None.

Customer Service:
No experience with Fuji. 17th Street Photo was great to work with.

Review 5 of 30

Price Paid:  $219.00 from P C World

Summary:
I had no idea which digital camera I was going to buy (I have a fujifilm DX-10 also) and was recomended this one by the assistant... So far I am very happy with it's performance! I have taken loads of pictures and apart from the 'human' error side of things, they all turn out to be really good, the colour is true to life and the detail is excellent! I would recomend this camera without hesitation!

Strengths:
I enjoy the 20 second minni clip! It's fun!

Weaknesses:
None that I have noticed!

Similar Products Used:
fujifilm DX-10
