Strength:

Superlative in all respects. 12 fps (with optional 14fps jpeg mirror up), highly adaptive/customizable AF system that works nearly perfectly, bomb proof construction plus excellent high ISO performance.

Weakness:

Expensive but you get what you pay for.

There is a lot to love and very little or nothing to criticize about this camera. I've owned it since it was introduced and cannot think of a single real complaint. Size and weight and price maybe. But there are good reasons for all of those. Speed, accuracy, durability, flexibility, performance amongst them. The 5DIII is super capable as well and is smaller, lighter, cheaper than the flagship 1DX and has the same excellent AF system, but only goes half the speed and doesn't balance quite as well with larger heavier pro lenses and it's battery doesn't last as long but has slightly better resolution than the 18MP 1DX.

Customer Service

CPS Canada ain't great.
