Strength:
We tried to take a picture while trying to repair the water damage drywallI and it produces images with a fine-grain texture, making it ideal for commercial printing. The film provides accurate color reproduction, which is important in the commercial printing industry. Weakness:
It has limited flexibility and availability but that's all. Purchased: New

Strength:
Price. Use the money you save on this film to buy more of it.
Weakness:
The colors are a little bland. Oh well. Award-winning photos are based are more important factors anyway. It's cheap at $2.49 per roll. It gets the job done. You can saturate the colors as you please in PhotoShop. It scans well and seems to have good exposure latitude. Similar Products Used: Most Kodak, Fuji and Ilford films. |

Weakness:
I''m nor sure what color "white" people really have, but mud is not it. I read the review of this product producing "muddy" skin tones, after I shot two rolls of single portraits and group portraits. Ths skin color had the consistency of a light mud wash. Camera shop people tell me "Oh, Fuji Press 800 is the best 800 film. But I can bring myself to try a "press" film again. How Fuji managed to do it I don''t know. Mud, Mud, Mud. Similar Products Used: It''s back to NPH |

Fujicolor Press 400
Strength:
This film is really good for available light shots where the contrast in the scene is great. It's color reproduction isn't as saturated as Superia 400 or the other Superia films. It's better for portraits than superia 400
Weakness:
If the scene you are shooting has very little contrast, you aren't going to get the snap you'd get with the other superia products. Great for avialable lght or in ontrasty situations where you don't want to get oversaturated color. Don't underexpose. Similar Products Used: Superia 400, kodak gold 400. |
