Strength:

If you're an avid film photographer, you'd love to hear about this one. I need a custom wordpress plugin when i saw this particular ads. It's a camera that's proven to be robust, reliable, and compact, all while being superbly engineered. It's often regarded as the best 35mm film SLR ever made. Sounds impressive.

Weakness:

Nothing so far.

In the end Gitzo offered 8" more height and supported an extra 1.5 lbs, but was 6" longer when closed, lost 12" on minimu height, added 65% more weight, and more then double the price. The leg locks were a personal preference and Velbon offered that as well. This was a no-brainer! Abilene Mobile Truck Repair

I actually seldom carry the Mini Trekker on my back. I will piggy-back it on my rolling check-in suitcase before checking in and then just carry it by the top strap after I have checked in. No problem since I keep the total weight under the 11 pound restriction. Joplin Mobile Truck Repair

Strength:

My first camera was a Kodak Brownie, which I used in the early 1960s. Then, my father gave me an Olympus OM-2. I used the OM-2 from 1968 to about 1995, where my subjects included anti-Vietnam war riots taking place in Berkeley, CA, folk dancers in Madison, WI, swamps in south Carolina, and waterfalls in Hawaii. In the late 1990s, I started using, in addition, a Tachihara 4X5 wooden field camera, and using the 4X5 negatives, created three portfolios of 20 inch X 24 inch color prints and I've had exhibitions at 3 museums and 5 community galleries. Then, in about 1995, I noticed that one of the small controls on my Olympus OM-2 got knocked off. The reason is that I kept my camera in a loose bag along with my lenses, and the continual bonking of the lenses against the control knocked it off the OM-2. And so, in 1995, I bought my OM-4Ti second hand from a shop in Oakland, CA. For the past twenty-three years, my second hand OM-4Ti has been my faithful companion during 50 photo trips to southern California deserts over the course of 3 years, during about 50 photo-sessions with babies, toddlers, and children, over the course of ten years, and for other smaller photo projects. I get my 35 negatives scanned at 200 MB. Good features: (1) Exposure always perfect; (2) Color balance always perfect; (3) Auto timer always works; (4) Never any light leakage; (5) Never any image distortion with my 50mm Zuiko lens, or 300 mm Zuiko telephoto lens, though it might be added that with close-up photos with the 21 mm super-wide angle Zuiko lens the expected distortion does occur; (6) Never any problem using the bayonet mount for my three lenses; (7) Never any problems with unexpected drainage of batteries, except on two occasions during those 23 years where I was sold defective batteries.

Weakness:

There are no "negative" qualities of the Olympus OM-4Ti. The only problems were my own fault, and this was the following. I had used manual exposure earlier in the week, and forgot to change the manual/automatic switch back to the neutral position or to the automatic position. The resulting problem was that all of the photos taken with a subsequent photo session were grossly under-exposed because the setting was left on "manual." This was totally my fault and not the fault of the OM-4Ti. I never used the OM-4Ti at sub-zero temperatures and I never used the OM-4Ti under high humidity conditions, and so I cannot comment on this camera's ability to operate under these challenging conditions. To repeat, despite using with at least 500 rolls of 35 mm film over the course of 23 years, I did not detect any negative points to the OM-4Ti.
