Model Reviewed:
SMCP 67 75mm f/4.5
Strength:
Excellent sharpness and contrast at all apertures - even wide open. Excellent drawing. Accurate and well saturated colour (Provia/Velvia). Provides very natural-looking perspective similar to 35mm lens on 35mm SLR (61 degree angle of view).
Weakness:
Surprisingly bulky. 82mm filter thread! Maximum aperture of f4.5 gives rather dim viewfinder image in poor light. If you want a 'wide-standard' lens this works well -as long as you can put up with limited maximum aperture and 82mm filters. Customer Service Not tried yet - reputedly quite pricey in UK. Strength:
*very sharp
Weakness:
*As all P67 lenses, it's rather large This lens is a dream for landscape photography. I use it as my "wide standard" lens, my preferred choice when I can take only one lens with me. Similar Products Used: Hasselblad Distagon CF 60mm |
