Strength:
Very compact and light. When hiking to do landscape work this is my lens of choice to carry because of its compact size and weight
Weakness:
May not be sturdy enough to stand up to a lot of beating that lens take in outdoor/landscape work, although I've never had any problems with mine. I've used this lens for 11 years and have made some of my best pictures with it. The glass is very sharp and reviews claim it contains aspherical lens groups. Strength:
Very sharp lens and low price for what you get.
Weakness:
Slow lens, hard to focus in dim light. soft pictures at 210mm. This has been my best zoom lens of all time. Very sharp in the 85mm-150mm range. Very light for such a large zoom. Best results have been obtained in the F8-F11 range (where I do most of my shooting). Customer Service Never needed. Similar Products Used: Sigma 28-70mm, Nikon 28-105mm, 50mm, 85mm, |

Strength:
Very compact, very good quality for a consumer grade lens, useful zoom range
Weakness:
Push/pull (although I prefer this over ring zooms) One of the smallest 200mm+ lens ever made. Good quality (not professional), very inexpensive. Compact filter size (52mm). Customer Service Not used Similar Products Used: Yashica/Contax, Nikon |

Strength:
Lightweight, easy to use. Excellent for the price. It is easy operate with the rubberized coating.
Weakness:
Cannot focus manually while in the AF mode. This lens has the ring type zoom which is much better than the push-pull type. Although not qualified as a professional lens, it produces excellent results. I feel that this lens can be used by both amateurs and professionals alike. Customer Service Not needed. Strength:
This is a refurbished Mk 1 APO version. It is very sharp with good contrast. I am amazed with its quality for the money.
Weakness:
Focus ring is a little loose. But does not affect focusing. A bit noisy when focusing and hunts a bit. Push pull slips slightly. For a refurbished lens at a cheap price this is amazing. It gave me my first 'enjoyable' pictures - sharp and contrasty with beautiful colours. If you see one cheap: buy it. Customer Service Fast response to questions. Seem keen to please. Strength:
It is a very light lens and in my opinion very sharp
Weakness:
also the push/pull zoom It is a very light lens and very compact. The sharpness is very very good. I use the manual focus modus and this is very simple to handle. I use it very often for racing photography and I`m so glad I use this lens for it. If you want a 200 mm lens with a great sharpness, here it is. Strength:
Light and cheap, does its work well, turn (revolve) zoom.
Weakness:
The autofocus is acceptable, not as fast as my 28-70 2.8 EX for canon. Manual focus is a kind of loose, so you might lose sharpness when you let go. I seem to be the only one with a twist(?) zoom instead of a push pull! A nice lens for a casual photographer. For the artist who spends more time to compose and focus, not reccommended.
